In 1997 we went into the studio to record our first project at the state-of-the-art facilities at Cloud Nine studios in Tulsa. OK. Production was supported by Andy Gilliam. It was an intense process. We recorded 10 original songs under budget. The studio was shocked. The funds were limited and the told me nobody could do it for that cost but amazingly enough... we did it!
A big part of what RWB does has always been making up parodies based on popular songs we grew up with. Due to the amazing changes in recording technology and lowering costs bursting on the scene we were able to buy the equipment needed to make our own recordings. Due to the amazing changes in recording technology and lowering costs bursting on the scene we were able to buy the equipment needed to make our own recordings. The result was a 1999 project that included several parodies of popular songs. These are songs that tend to leave people with a big smile on their faces. It is so much fun to do! Tony E. is pretty much a pop music "encyclopedia." He can be a machine of creativity when it comes to words & music for them. We also "rushingwindize" contemporary Christian songs like Barcha-Shem from the old band Lamb. It is a natural fit for us. This was the first project Matt could produce "in-house." We still went back to our friends at Cloud Nine Studios in Tulsa for the mastering process but it was the last time we needed their help.
In the year 2000 when all the hype and fear in the world, we released our 3rd project that would be our answer to the fear many people around the world were dealing with. They called it Y2K and it was a big concern to a lot of people because if the computers went down, we could all be in trouble. This was our second project with all orig

They called it Y2K and it was a big concern to a lot of people because if the computers went down, we could all be in trouble. This was our second project with all original songs on it and it was the first project that was completely recorded and mixed down in-house. It wasn't easy. I was working on the production until 3:00am at times but it was such a blessing to have such an opportunity to touch people's lives! We were so busy in that season that it really makes me wonder how we did it...
In 2004 we released a second parody album. It might be surprising for you to find out that the music was "invented" on the spot as we came up with song after song for very excited inmates! Things were tense and we were left with over 300 inmates in a minimum-security prison in Kansas. They were yelling out songs and one after another one

Things were tense and we were left with over 300 inmates in a minimum-security prison in Kansas. They were yelling out songs and one after another one of us would start and the rest would follow. It was great fun to do it but I don't recommend the "method" we used to get it done. We played at numerous penal facilities for a season that lasted a few years. I know the Lord used us to touch many lives bringing joy, hope and compassion to some people who were going through some very difficult places. It was a privilege to touch so many lives in that very special season that lasted for several years.
RWB released "A Night to Remember" in 2007. This music was recorded in band practice. In those times we usually practiced one day a week. The recording sessions during band practice led to some new songs and some re-mixed songs that were a "kind" of "greatest hits" album. It included parody songs that people would request a lot in concert

Winston sand "People Get Ready" which was the first song on the album. We would call Winston... Mr. Smooth. He had a vocal range that was amazing with his God given, smooth and powerful voice with a range that was just out of this world. People Get Ready also gave Matt H. a place to lay down some smooth guitar sounds that give a unique sound to RWB. Of course, Tony E. does a great job showcasing his own vocal power and guitar sounds throughout the album as well. It is a great gift to us to have the unique season of life and ministry captured in this amazing recording. Finally, we added three new songs too. I know that He Can Help You, I Will Praise You and The Love of The Lord were recorded in these sessions that provide a lot of comfort, peace and joy that thankfully are still with us today.
In 2006 Tony E. released a solo Christmas album. Just a man, his voice and a few different types of guitars that showcase the unique sounds he loves. His unique arrangements make standard Christmas songs come to life again. It is still a favorite every Christmas.
